The 2011 Borsec residency from Transylvania, Romania will start on May 1st. The organiser, Artfest Association, a Romanian non-profit art organization invites artists under 35, from all fields of art have to send their CV and samples of their work no latter than March 30.
Work is individual or collective; it depends on anyone's will, proposals are welcomed. Artfest can arrange for you to keep a reading, performance, exhibit in the central area of the town.
DURATION One week, it starts from 1st of May to 7th (you may extend your stay up to a month).
The town, located at the base of Carpathians, and the surrounding area are well known for their spas and mineral waters.

COSTS 95 Euros/week, payable after arrival. That includes: accommodation, dinner, car transfer at arrival from Borsec bus station or Toplita train station, guidance to visit the area, hiking on Carpathian mountains, visit of area's attractions ( caves, the Fairytales Place, mineral water spas, mineral water museum etc)
REGISTRATION Artists have to send through email a request accompanied by a CV and work samples. In less than 10 days you get a response.
