A male performer in his 30s (or who is younger and with a mature air) is sought to work with one (ex LAMDA) actor who has already been recruited for a gallery-based screening and performance event. The project involves performing on the recorded soundtrack to a video and two hours live performance on the evening of Thursday 22nd May. The actor must be available between 5.30 and 8pm on this day and ideally in the afternoon or evening of Wednesday 21st of May for final rehearsal. The performance on the opening night will involve moving amongst the visitors performing a narrative of private decision-making. Availability for recording of the soundtrack is required for 2 hours on a date between the 8th -13th May.
Each actor will receive a fee of £150, to cover four hours of performance time and with an extra allowance for rehearsal time which can be arranged flexibly. Each performer will be credited fully and receive a copy of the video including the edited soundtrack for promotional purposes . I intend to seek distribution for the video, exhibit it and promote it to film festivals and the show itself will be promoted widely receiving a good number of visitors - the roles thereby providing a reasonable degree of exposure.
