The Scenic Route, a new London based theatre company, is seeking submissions fromnew musical theatre writers for a short musical to be produced on the London fringe in 2008.
We are ideally looking for musicals no more than an hour in length (they can even be much shorter) and not requiring technically complicated scene changes or special effects. The successful piece would suit production in a small,intimate venue. This would be a great opportunity for someone looking for a chance to have early work seen and workshopped.
Submissions should include a cover letter, synopsis, and a libretto at this stage. Please attach sheet music in addition where possible and reference whether or not a recording of the score is available.
