Description
PrefaceMorn is looking for dancers for its rework of “Beauty in Stone”.
PrefaceMorn is a dance and physical theatre company lead by disabled
choreographer Niall Cullen.
It aims to work with disabled and able-body performers and
collaborators, and to produce high quality work, which is accessible
to all audiences.
“Beauty in Stone” is a contemporary dance show with elements of live art.
The show explores the relationship of society with the female body and
the concept of the perfect female body.
It’s inspired by sculptures and painting based around the Greek
goddess Aphrodite.
The show will contain full nudity with a possibility of body paint.
We are looking for professional dancers who are confident with their bodies,
And welcome applications from disabled and able body dancers.
There will be 8 rehearsals, dates are:
Every Monday from 11th January to 8th March (without the 15th Feb)
With a sharing on the 12th March
Payment is £250 for the whole project
Auditions will be held in 6th Jan
