Call for proposals for Les Eurotopiques festival in Tourcoing in May/June 2008
La Virgule, the Cross-border Centre for Theatre Creation, is organising "Les Eurotopiques" – a festival of theatre projects to be presented to the public in the form of drama readings.
The festival will take place at the Salon de Théâtre in Tourcoing in May and June 2008. We would like to invite you to take part. Projects should comply with a given theme: this year's theme is Utopia. This specific topic may be interpreted freely in the form of a repertory play, an original creation, an adaptation or a text compilation. Project drafts should include a summary, a statement of intent, a description of the characters, a short CV of the author and artistic team, and a short excerpt from the play.
Draft projects in their original language, with a French or English translation if necessary, should be sent to La Virgule by 1st September 2007.
