Future Shorts is one of the world's most dynamic short films labels,
committed to widening the audience for short film and raising the profile of short film and its filmmakers. We are seeking to add a member to our team.
The programmer will have responsibility for sourcing and shortlisting
short films for all programmes which Future Shorts curates, with a
specific focus on the monthly programme of films.
The programmer should consult the following sources for short films: film festivals, film schools, production companies, independent filmmakers, UK and International Future Shorts partners as well as reviewing all the direct submissions to Future Shorts.
The programmer should liaise with the submitters of all films to let them know about our decision on their film.
The programmer must keep detailed records of all submissions and sourcing activity on the filemaker system.
The role is part-time at 2 days per week and the fee is £50 per day.
