Performance Platform
After a little break You and Your Work is back with more hope, more ambition, more sweat and more cash, as the next platform is supported by Arts Council England. On this occasion we like to invite you to submit your project for our next platform to take place on the 24 th of January 2008 at the Cube in Bristol.
We aim to present contemporary theatre, dance and live art; media work is welcome as long as it refers to performance or performative concepts.
We would like to encourage people whose projects experiment with site, the public realm and duration.
You and Your Work brings together young artists from the South West and the UK whose work is meaningful for an audience, sweats on a low budget and is committed to a DIY aesthetic.
We are able to reimburse travel expenses, offer a small fee to cover your costs, accommodation and give a tender kick into the rest of the year with 'Feuerzangenbowle' (Google it) and some sort of wish swapping.
Deadline for Submission is the 3rd of January 2008
To submit your work please write on no more than an A4 page:
1. Your name and contact details
2. Title of your work
3. Concept
4. Technical requirements
5. Audience and duration
6. Your artistic practice
7. A comprehensible documentation of the work you wish to submit on DVD, VHS, CD-R or videoblog
