Take part in the development of Hotel Pro Forma’s next productions as an intern
Hotel Pro Forma is one of the leading theatre production companies in Europe in the experimental performing arts. For the spring semester 2012 we are looking for interns to take part in the development of two upcoming productions:
Laughter in the Dark is the title of the upcoming international production premiering in Copenhagen, with a European tour to follow. As a preproduction we are planning a large workshop in Copenhagen in February/March 2012. Here many of the artistic and technical elements used in the performance will be developed.
Debussy and his music will be staged visually and conceptually by Hotel Pro Forma for a music festival in Copenhagen in May 2012.
Furthermore, successful candidates will participate in the preparation of Hotel Pro Forma’s participation in IETM, an international conference for the performing arts to be held in Copenhagen end-March 2012.
Hotel Pro Forma is looking for students with a strong personal drive to form part of a transdisciplinary team who can contribute with knowledge in specifi c areas of expertise. At the same time, you will receive
unique insight into the artistic and production-related processes that make up Hotel Pro Forma.
The two main projects are, like all of our productions, an investigation of different phenomena within performance art, architecture, light, sound, perception, use of new technology and communication.
We are looking for interns or students within one or more of following areas of expertise:
Sound
Light
Text / Dramaturgy
Visual media
Architecture
Marketing
The period for the internship is from 30 January - 1 June 2012. The internship is without salary and is
full-time.
A typical week could include: overall work with developing the two projects, shorter presentations and dialogue with Hotel Pro Forma’s artistic and administrative management, production meetings, and inputs from external guests as lectures or smaller workshops.
