Actors urgently required for new play in London

From the author of STEAM (White Bear Theatre February 2006/ Barons Court Theatre June 2007) comes Counterfeit Skin, an exciting new play about the effects of parental and sexual love on two generations of men, and the consequences of secrecy and deceit; the conflict between the desires of the flesh and the needs of the heart. The play will premiere at the Studio space in the brand new Courtyard Theatre in Hoxton, London, for a three week run between 22nd Jan and 10th Feb 2008. It will be directed by Kirrie Wratten and designed by Aaron Marsden who was one of the designers on Moulin Rougue. Rehearsals will be from 10th Dec, with a short break for Christmas.

There is a cast of six men, and at the moment we are especially looking forthe following pair of actors:

Leo Hawley. He is aged approx 45 to 55. He is the Managing Director and owner of a confectionary company. He is a man who has made many sacrifices in his life, with very little gratitude. He is idealistic rather than true to himself, and this is his downful.

Luke. He is in his mid to late 20's. A complex, brooding soul, and a recovering alcoholic. He is clinging on to a relationship that is disintegrating before his eyes. Desperate for commitment and reassurance from someone who secretly resents him for taking away their freedom.

Please email CV's and headshots to Jason Charles at jprcharles@gmail.com Auditions are currently only due to continue until Tuesday 27th Nov so the quicker the better please! (there may be some exceptions) Please note that this is a profit share production.
