This course will be a five day intensive acting workshop based on the teachings of Sanford Meisner, founder of the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theater in New York City and one of the original members of the Group Theater, along with Lee Strasberg, Stella Adler and Harold Clurman. The course will focus on a series of exercises that eliminate intellectual and self-conscious inhibition from the actor’s instrument and create truthful emotional reactions to what is happening to the actor on stage. ‘Acting in the moment`.
John Frey is a graduate of the William Esper Studio for Actors (Meisner Technique) under the guidance of William Esper. He has worked as an actor in theater, film and television for the past fifteen years.
