Vika Kleiman dancer and teaches (Argentina/Barcelona). Co-founder of the collective ExperienciaCos dedicated to explore and teach Contact Improvisation; since 2003 teaches Conciencia Corporal y Movimiento at the Escuela Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) and since 2001, Yoga. She learned in Japan , USA , India , Argentina and Spain with dancers like Nancy Stark Smith, Martin Keogh, Ray Chung, (VLKM) Rolf Meesters, Daniel Lepkoff, K.J. Holmes, Andrew Harwood, Cathie Caraker, Patricia Stokoe; and in yoga with masters such as Master M.S Viswanath, Yukio Sakashita Sensei, Yoko Sakashita Sensei and Teresa Tudisco. Teaches and performs in Spain , Belgium , Netherlands , Japan and Argentina .

Ángeles Lacalle started as a dancer of the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Barcelona and danced with prestigious European companies until the age of 39. She’s working for 25 years as a teacher in companies like Lanònima Imperial , Compañía Metros and Gelabert/Azzopardi.

Axis Syllabus Technique Workshop
22 to 26 of January from 10.00 to 13.00
The Axis Syllabus Universal Motor Principles, is a concrete movement method consolidated by the american dancer and choregrapher Frey Faust (David Parsons, Donald Byrd, Randy Warshaw, Gina Buntz, Ohad Nahirin, Meredith Monk, Merce Cunningham and Stephen Petronio). This technique helps to prevent injuries and teaches how to move safely and well, to understand the movement and to get the most out of the available kinetic energies.
In this intensive workshop we will focus on the spine's curves, tri-axial and undulatory articulations and effects on the central masses of the body to gather and maintain momentum. We will explore the theory proposed through the development of floor and standing material. Maintaining this focus we will escalate to flowing, turning, flying and falling dances!
Kelly Keenan ( Canada ), graduated from Les Ateliers de Danse Moderne de Montreal 's professional training program. She has since worked with various companies including Lynda Gaudreau's Compagnie de Brune, Caravan Stage Theatre, and choreographer Estelle Clareton ( Montreal ). Kelly has extensive anatomical knowledge and has studied the Axis Syllabus under Frey Faust (the consolidater) for over 3 years. She is now a practising certified Axis Syllabus Instructor recently teaching workshops in Brussels , Vienna and Istanbul . She is also a Key Organiser of the Nomadic College , a dance festival dedicated to the study of the Axis Syllabus.
