WRITERS, VISUAL ARTISTS, NEW and MIXED MEDIA ARTISTS and MODERN MUSICAL COMPOSERS can now apply for the Year 2007 Residencies of Foundation Kuenstlerdorf Schoeppingen.
Final date for applications 15th of january 2007 (postmark is valid).
Up to 12 scholarships for WRITERS, up to 12 for VISUAL ARTISTS, up to 6 for NEW MEDIA ARTISTS and one sholarship for COMPOSERS are on offer.
The maximum duration for a residency is limited to six months.
Monthly sholarship is 1025,- Euro.
Rent of apartment or studio (ranging from about 90 to 200 Euros) has to be paid out of the granted scholarship.

Künstlerdorf Schöppingen offers an open platform for co-operations between artists and writers. This place opens the way for a copious flow of ideas and projects. Readings, workshops and exhibitions take place regularly.
Co-operations as well as national and international exchanges are supported.
Künstlerdorf Schöppingen is both retreat and artistic laboratory.
Schöppingen is located in the western part of the Münsterland (Federal Republic of Germany), near the dutch border, between the cities of Enschede and Münster.
The studios and apartements of Künstlerdorf Schöppingen have been installed in two completely renovated farm-houses from the beginning of the 19th century. There are 8 apartements for writers and 6 studios for visual artists. Moreover there are a.o. workshops, performance- and gallery spaces.
The scholarships are up to six months max. Decisions on these scholarships are made by expert-juries.
