Course of physical theatre and dramatic corporeal mime of professional level

The dramatic corporeal mime gives the actor the tools to promote their expression and broaden the range of their acting possibilities. Thanks to the study of corporeal mime, the body of the actor is denaturalized to be able to express the invisible, their thought, and their feelings, to represent more than the actor themselves.
The course will develop from of the following questions:
How to show physically that which can not be seen?
How to show the trace of thought, its path, and the intensity of emotion, using the human body as the only resource?
How does the body come off marked by remembrance, by memory?
The objectives of the course are:
- to promote the technical possibilities of the actor
- to go deep into the work of physical acting based on the dramatic corporeal mime of Etienne Decroux
The teachers of this course, designed by MOVEO for dance and theatre professionals, will focus on the study of methods and body resources that allow the actor to put their body at the service of their imagination.
