This workshop is aimed at all who in their professional activity - amateur, artistic, recreational and leisure - need to acquire skills in the area of Diction, Diagrammatic Breathing, Voice Plac em ent and Projection. The methodology is highly participatory, using individual exercises, role-play and examples. The practical exercises will be based on the participants’ experience and activity, as well on several different situations from their personal universe.

Nuno Miguel Henriques
Besides teaching, he has worked as Image and Protocol consultant and advisor in different public and private entities. He worked as Adviser/Deputy to government, municipalities and enterprises. During six years, he was Director of the Instituto de Artes do Espectáculo. He holds a Masters Degree in Marketing from the University of Madrid and Post-Graduations in "Image, Protocol", " Event Organisation " and "Television", among other graduations, (Social Affairs, and others), formations and activities. He’s Guest Teacher and visiting professor at national and foreign universities
and entities, and also certified trainer by the Conselho Científico-Pedagógico de Formação Contínua do Ministério de Educação. He has also developed his work as Event Producer, Actor / Stage Director and Poetry Diseur in Theatre, Television and Radio.
He edited several Poetry CDs. He is Event Manager at «Pátio das Ideias - Turismo Cultural» and «Teatro Azul - Companhia Profissional».
What’s the project Theatre in the City?
The project Theatre in the City has as its main goal to give Torres Vedras’ city educational microstructures to help fighting the regional asymmetries, providing educational and cultural enjoyment spaces for the citizens, in the context of theatre, of performative arts, and within a range of artistic expressions wider than the one the dramatic expression concept itself allows embracing.
In this project there’s an intention to discuss, through the several artistic and performative variants that the dramatic expression allows, subjects that include the concepts of city and community, as well as the relationships established between both, in a certain territory. One of the richest methodologies to work the dynamics between the I, the other, the group and, finally, the community, is the sociodrama. This is the reason behind doing 6 workshops facilitated by credentialed sociodramatists.
Beside the more direct and obvious benefits inherent to the attending of training sessions (in this case under the format of workshops focused on share, experiment, know-how), we believe that through a continuous and persistent action this project will also contribute to win and fidelize theatre-going public.
