For its upcoming January to december 2012 program of events, Le Lieu, centre en art actuel is launching a call for proposals. We invite practitioners of action art and performance to send proposals for a serie of performance evenings and artists working in installation art, gallery-based art and contextual art to propose exhibition project.
These invitations are open to local, national and international artists.
PROPOSALS SHOULD INCLUDE :
– an artist statement
– a CV (it is essential to include an email address)
– visual documentation (photographs, CD-roms or DVDs) and any additional material necessary to support
your work
– a stamped, addressed envelop, if you would like your documentation returned
GENERAL INFORMATIONS :
– The portfolios are evaluated by the programming committee at
Le Lieu
– Due to concern for the environment, we will send decisions about proposals by email
– The plan of the gallery is available on our Web site (http://www.inter-lelieu.org/FR/lieu_appel-dossier.php)
Proposals should be submitted, no later than Friday May 13th 2011.
